Community Guidelines

Zhuchka exists so that people can show each other what they found in second-hand and thrift shops. These rules keep it that way. They are part of the Terms of Use.

Photographing in shops

Some shops do not allow photography. Ask if you are not sure, and respect the answer. Avoid photographing staff and other customers; if a person is recognisable in your photo, get their agreement before posting it.

If you break the rules

Content that breaks these guidelines is removed. Serious cases — sexual content involving minors, credible threats, coordinated harassment — mean the account is deleted at once. Everything else is judged in proportion: a first mistake usually means the post is removed and you are told why, while repeated breaches lead to suspension or deletion of the account.

If you think a decision was wrong, reply to the message you received, or write to nxzolov@gmail.com. Decisions are made by a person and can be reversed by one.

Reporting something

Report it from inside the app. Open the find, tap the button in the top corner and choose Report this find; the same menu on a profile reports the account. Pick a reason, add a sentence if it helps, and send. The find you reported disappears from your app straight away, and the report reaches a person.

Reports are confidential: the person you report is not told who reported them.

The same menu has Block. Blocking is mutual — you stop seeing each other's finds — and it takes effect immediately, whether or not you also report. You can undo it from that person's profile.

If you cannot reach the app, write to nxzolov@gmail.com with a screenshot and a sentence about what is wrong.
